I have also followed the Sivasagar school visit. It was one of the best trips of my life so far. This town is 360 kilometers North East of Guwahati and here we visit Ahom palaces and monuments. It was a great experience.

The monument takes us back to history and it is a one of a kind experience. I loved the time we spent in Sivasagar. It was the capital of the Ahom kingdom from 1699 to 1788. At that time Sivasagar was known as Rangpur.

The town has a rich history and it has seen many good and bad things. Ahoms ruled Assam for 6 centuries and it fell in 1819 to Burma. There are many beautiful places to see in this city.

Apart from Sivasagar, we also visited Guwahati and other major cities of Asammee but visiting Sivasagar was one of the best trips that I have ever taken from my mind. I still remember the fresh air, the green scenery, and the sound of the river in my ears.

The sight of the huge monuments and the energy flowing in these places is unforgettable. People here are close to nature and their land. The oil and tea industries also make it viable for the state’s economy. Sivasagar is a package for tourists who love nature and history.
