Snehal Sanjay Gaglani was born on Monday, 29 August 1988 (age 34 years; as of 2022) in Amravati, Maharashtra, India. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. She studied at Bhawarilal Samra English High School, Amravati, Maharashtra. She later pursued graduation at Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. She started learning dance at the age of five at Mayur Dance Academy, Amravati and won awards in several shows and many competitions. She often witnessed domestic violence during her childhood as her father used to beat up her mother. When she was nine, her mother, along with Snehal and her sister, left her husband and moved to a chawl in Nagpur. Snehal started working double jobs at the age of sixteen; as a receptionist in a salon during the day and in a call centre during the night. Snehal Rai’s debut TV show was the 2009 show Bandhan Saat Janamon Ka in which she played the role of Renu. In 2014, she appeared as Niraja in Runji. Her big break came in 2015 with the role of Tanya Vajpayee in Ishq Ka Rang Safed, which was liked by her fans. She played the role of Naagina in Ichhapyaari Naagin in 2016, Pari in Perfect Pati in 2018, and Raina in Vish in 2019.
