A 9-year-old boy sobbed as he lashed out at his drug-dealing mother by handing police a 100-gram bag of methamphetamine he found under her nightstand.
Kendra Long’s son, who has not been identified, met police at her front door in July 2022 clutching her iPad and a sandwich-sized Ziploc bag full of drugs.
The little boy approached the sobbing officer as he handed over the drugs to authorities in front of his distraught mother, newly released body camera footage, obtained by KLAS, shows.
“I just saw some bags, I was curious, pulled them out, and that’s when I knew what they were,” the child told police when he was alone.
When asked if he knew what drugs looked like, the 9-year-old breathlessly replied: “Yes.”
Her son contacted his father, Tony, who now lives with him, after finding a bag of drugs under Long’s bedside table and locking himself in the bathroom for more than an hour.
