Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have finally finalized their divorce after about seven months and are now officially single!
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the exes reached a favorable agreement regarding the separation of their assets while agreeing that no spousal support be given to either party.

Vergara and Manganiello’s divorce settlement was relatively straightforward with the former asking the court to end spousal or spousal support forever.

The former couple had no children during their seven years of marriage so there were no custody or child support issues to deal with.
“The parties have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marital or domestic partnership rights, including support, the original of which is or has been submitted to the court. I am asking the court to approve the agreement,” a court document filed by Manganiello read.
In November, we broke the news that the former power couple was close to finalizing their divorce amicably when the “Modern Family” actress filed a disclosure declaration, telling the court that she had turned over all of her financial information to Manganiello.
As is the case with most celebrity divorces, the disclosure declaration is the final filing before a settlement is reached, and the parties separate. Things aren’t complicated for Vergara and Manganiello since they have a prenup to help when things get complicated.
Vergara and Manganiello shared the news of their split in July 2023 after fans noticed the “Magic Mike” actor’s tribute to Vergara for his 51st birthday went unnoticed. The “Hot Pursuit” actress has also been spotted several times without her wedding ring.

Shortly after they shared a joint statement to confirm the rumours, writing:
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people who love and care deeply for each other, we politely ask for your privacy to be respected at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives. Sofía and Joe have grown apart for a while now and are taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future.”

Last month, the Colombian actress, for the first time, spoke openly about her divorce and what was responsible for it. The mother-of-one broke her silence in an interview, admitting that they called it off because of their conflicting lifestyles.
She explained that she and Manganiello didn’t end things because of bad blood but because they weren’t on the same page about their family goals.
“Well, I just divorced my second husband [actor Joe Manganiello], who I was with for 10 years,” Vergara began. “My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wants to have children, and I don’t want to be an old mother. I don’t think it’s fair to the baby. I respect whoever does that, but it’s not for me anymore.”
Vergara has a son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, from a previous relationship, while Manganiello remains childless at age 47 — a status he hopes to change with his now ex-wife.

The famous actress continued, explaining that she is more than ready to have grandchildren “I had a son at the age of 19, who is now 32, and I am ready to be a grandmother, not a mother. So, if love comes, he should come along [his own] children. I’m on the verge of menopause; it is the natural way. When my son becomes a father, let him bring the baby to me for a while, and then I will give it back to him and go on with my life; that’s what I have to do.”
