Career
Sonali did her LLB and LLM from Amity Law School, Delhi in 2001-2006 and later became a professional lawyer.
Sonali Jaitley came into the limelight during the 2019 general elections when she sent defamation notices to AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi Marlena and Manish Sisodia on behalf of BJP’s East-Delhi candidate Gautam Gambhir.
Controversy
Sonali Jaitley accused of taking Rs. 24 lakh on February 20, 2018 from fugitive businessman Mehul Choksi. For this, the Congress party blamed Sonali’s father, Arun Jaitley, who was the Union Minister at the time and demanded his resignation.
