NFL star Braxton Berrios took some time to address allegations that he cheated on his ex-girlfriend, “The Culpo Sisters” reality star Sophia Culpo, amid his new romance with TikTok star Alix Earle.
Culpo revealed that “betrayal” led to her split in April, while Berrios and Earle were seen spending time together the following month. Now that Earle posted a video featuring a shirtless man in her bed, fans are starting to believe that there is some truth to the rumors that Berrios cheated on Culpo with Earle.
However, Berrios made sure that he set the record straight.

After Earle posted a video of the two of them on Sunday, Berrios decided to share her side of the story on Instagram on Tuesday night. In a lengthy Instagram Story, the 27-year-old football receiver shared his version of events on how his relationship with Culpo ended.
“I don’t want to start anything. I don’t want to drive anything,” he began in the video, which was transcribed by Page Six. “I really want this to end and for everyone to move on and do whatever makes them happy.”

“I was in a relationship for two years,” he continued, referring to his relationship with Sophia Culpo. “It was a good relationship, it was a healthy relationship. And at the end of it, we talked along the lines of we didn’t work out. So when we broke up in January, that’s why.”
Berrios claimed that the couple broke up earlier this year due to their own decision, adding that it had “nothing to do with anyone else” and stated that it “didn’t work out and that’s okay.”
“It’s very strange and sad to see what kind of things have happened since then,” he said in the video. “I kept quiet because it is not appropriate for me to talk about my personal life publicly. But I think it needs to be touched on now.”

In April, the 26-year-old TikTok star opened up about her breakup when a fan asked her about it during an Instagram Q&A session. “I couldn’t talk about this when it first happened,” Sophia said in the video (via TooFab). “I still have no words. I’m not really one to post a lot of dirty details.” She revealed that the relationship “didn’t end well” because “a lot of trust was broken.”
“I did not deal with this matter because it was very difficult to accept and process. I will say that it didn’t end well or honestly,” he continued. “A lot of trust has been broken. But I have an amazing support system and I really appreciate everyone’s love & support. This community never fails to amaze me.”

“I have the most amazing family and friends and I’m so grateful that I was able to pick myself up and move to a new place on my own,” she continued. “So, there are a lot of things I’m thankful for… I wouldn’t wish what I’m going through on anyone. I really don’t and I try my best to take the high road here.”
“I appreciate everyone’s love and support, I really appreciate it. It means a lot to me,” he added. “We girls must stick together and one day I’ll share all the lessons I’ve learned.”

On Sunday, Alix Earle shared a TikTok featuring her vacationing in the Hamptons, including a Calvin Harris concert and lots of food. However, at the beginning of the video, she also hugs a shirtless man who is sitting on her bed. Although his face is not clearly shown in the video, fans have identified him as Berrios.
However, it seems that the two are still not dating. When one fan commented, “HARD LAUNCH. HARD LAUNCH.” Alix replied, “We’re not ‘dating’ but it’s just hard for me not to share stuff with you guys, hahahaha.”

Shortly after Alix posted the video, Sophia took to her TikTok Stories to say that, even though friends kept watching her, she was “fine”.
“I’m sorry that the internet has their panties in a twist. It’s not that deep,” he said in the video, which has since been deleted. “It’s not really that deep. I literally get texts from my friends like, ‘I’m thinking of you, are you okay?’ I’m good. I’m good. The internet is wild, but we’re good.”
She also shared a video with the caption “Give some but call me when the love bombing ends. I got #girltok #narcredflag,” but that video has also been deleted.
