She is best known for acting in the Netflix comedy drama television series The Baby-Sitters Club where she appeared as guest star Karen Brewer in both seasons. Sophia Reid-Gantzert was born on January 18, 2010, in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her mother’s name is Kerri-Ann Reid.
Career
Sophia Reid made her acting debut when she first acted in the romantic comedy drama film The Sweetest Christmas in 2017. After making her debut, She appeared in the horror television series Once Upon A Time as Young Anastasia. In 2018, Sophia came into the limelight for playing Sarah Wykes in the television series Phoef Sutton Darrow & Darrow.
In 2018, Sophia got the role of Abby in the short film Hearts & Minds. For his impressive performance, he received a nomination for the best child actor of the Oniros Film Awards.
Sophia’s acting career continued to gain momentum with roles in several television films in 2018-2019, including playing Gigi in Santa’s Boots and Madison Bailey in Easter Under Wraps. Her breakout role came in 2020 when she starred as Karen Brewer in the Netflix comedy drama series The Baby-Sitters Club. Portraying the fan-favorite character earned Sophia widespread popularity and critical acclaim, including two Joey Awards recognizing her achievement as Best Supporting Actress.
