- Apart from acting, Sourav has a great interest in poetry. In fifth grade, he wrote his first book ‘One Drop of Happiness.’ Two years later, that is, in the seventh grade, he released his second book titled ‘Achena Alo Rekha.’ In 2002, his third book ‘Ekante Abhimanyu’ was released at a book fair. In January 2023, a book titled ‘Khobor Achhe’ was released in an Oxford bookstore; Sourav dedicated this book to his father.
- In 2020, Sourav Chakraborty founded an entertainment website company called ‘Uribaba,’ which is believed to be the first independent Bangla free entertainment station with a dose of new videos in the form of web series, short films and sketches.

Rajneeti was made out of this mindset, this ideological difference. But it does not harm any individual political party. You will find politics everywhere – be it our daily life, office or even in the family. The story concerns ordinary people, such as sex, family, and money, rather than political machinations. To be honest, I’m more interested in stories that reveal the limitations of political ideas and ideologies.”
