The splotchy red mark on former President Trump’s hand – which sparked speculation this week – was caused by blood from a paper cut, according to a report.
Internet experts originally explored many theories to explain the red mark, from a rash caused by his golf club grip, to herpes.
But an anonymous source gave TMZ a more familiar explanation.

The red flag first came to light after Trump was filmed on Wednesday leaving a New York City courtroom where he faced libel claims by magazine writer E. Jean Carroll.
A representative for the former president did not respond to a request for comment from The Post.
Images of Trump later that day showed the sign had disappeared. His hands were also mark-free on Thursday morning when he was photographed leaving the funeral of his mother-in-law Amalija Knavs.
