Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalia and her boyfriend of two years, Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro took their relationship to the next level when they recently got engaged.
The two have been dating since late 2019 but made it public in September 2021. And now, their affair led to a marriage confirmed by Cardi B, Rosalia’s best friend on social media.

News of their engagement broke when Cardi B posted a photo of the Spanish star on her Instagram Story wearing a silver band with large stones. The photo showed Rosalia’s face with her hands close to the camera while the “WAP” rapper wrote at the top, “Congratulations @rosalia.vt @rauwalejandro” along with a red heart, red rose and ring emoji.
Cardi didn’t stop there but added another text overlay at the bottom of the post. It read, “So cute – almost made me cry.” The hot couple also seemed to confirm the big news in the music video for their recent hit collaboration, “BESO.”
Rosalia and Rauw are one of the most talked about couples in the music industry with different careers. Although they rarely discuss their relationship, the couple sometimes posts small details of their relationship on social media.
While there is no public knowledge of how the two got together, TODAY reports that they initially sparked dating rumors in August 2021 when they were photographed holding hands. At that moment, they left the West Hollywood restaurant The Nice Guy and beamed as they walked towards a black SUV.
In the photo obtained, Alejandro is wearing black pants, a dark blue button-up shirt, and a black beanie, while his lady is wearing a black crop top and multi-colored pants. Then in September of the same year, the couple confirmed their relationship by celebrating the “Con Altura” singer’s 28th birthday on September 25.

That same month, they made their red carpet debut at the Los 40 Music Awards photocall on November 12 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The Latin Grammy Award winner rocked a baby blue dress with butterfly detailing while her partner wore an all-black ensemble.
Since their announcement, Alejandro has only had good words for his girlfriend. In a 2021 interview with Entertainment Tonight, he was asked what attracted her to him, prompting him to call her “perfect” and “beautiful.” In another interview with Rolling Stone, he revealed how their relationship works, touching on their respect for each other, and even about their careers.

The next day, he revealed an additional feature: “Today at midnight with La Cardi,” to which Cardi B responded with “Uy, bien perra.” The new music is set to be released on Friday, December 16, months after the release of the original version in July.
“Despechá” was initially teased during the world tour for Rosalia’s award-winning album “Motomami” and was loved by many on social media. In addition, the song earned his first top spot as a solo artist last October on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart and the No. 1 second on Billboard Tropical Airplay.
