Birth & Early Life
Sreejita De was born on 19 July 1989 to Mrs. Lipi and Mr. Swapan Kumar De in Haldia, West Bengal. He has completed his schooling from St. Xavier and then went to Mumbai-based Ramnarain Ruia College to pursue a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication. Sreejita always wanted to venture into acting and after studying, she appeared in several screen tests to determine her suitability in front of the camera.

Career
Sreejita shot to fame after getting her first professional role as Gargi Bajaj in the popular Hindi daily drama serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The show is one of the longest running Star Plus television shows. She was later offered a role in Ekta Kapoor’s serial Karam Apnaa Apnaa. Sreejita was later cast in Colors’ third longest running television series, Uttaran as Mukta Rathore Kashyap. The role of Mukta gave her the popularity she deserved.

Apart from that, he has also appeared in several other television series such as Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi, Piya Rangrezz, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, Nazar, Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka! and many more.
In 2022, he made headlines for appearing as one of the contestants of the reality drama show Bigg Boss season 16. He has been in the news for his presence in the game and also his altercation with his archrival Tina Datta.
