On Wednesday, August 31, 2022, Dash uploaded a video of herself sobbing when she realized that DMX was dead for TikTok.
Dash prefaced the video by captioning it, “I was cruising through #tiktok and found the #DMX song that has saved me so many times. Suddenly it says #RIP I know I’m late, I didn’t know he died, he’s #OD I’m heartbroken – he was a great guy. #devestasid #staceydash #fyp #aware.”

Stacey Says She’s Embarrassed For Not Knowing About DMX
A distraught and sobbing Dash tells the camera, “Alright, you guys. I’m shy. I don’t know… I didn’t know DMX died. I don’t know from an overdose of cocaine. Today I am six years and one month clean. It breaks my heart, it breaks my heart that she lost to him. He lost, he lost to the demon of addiction. Please, please don’t lose.”
One fan wondered how he had absolutely ZERO clues about his departure.

Dash Blames His Lack Of Knowledge On Not Watching The News
“Wherever you are, wherever DMX died,” a fan commented.
Dash replied, “I don’t know. Like I said. I. do not watch tv or read the news. So…?”

Another fan slammed writing, “How did you not know? He has a memorial at the Barclay Center. His casket was carried by 100s of motorcycles, a giant truck that said ‘Love Live DMX.’”
The video caught some people’s attention and some related to Dash’s success; however, many viewers had funny comments to add.
“Is this the trailer for Clueless 2,” one comment read.
One person hilariously wrote, “Yeah… Biggie and Pac are having a reunion concert next week too Stacey!”
“WOMEN. I’m just getting ready for tomorrow’s stitch and duet, creator you’ve called,” someone replied.
In October, the actress revealed that she was battling a pill addiction, and it had been pretty bad for a few years.
The “Clueless” actress shared her truth with Dr. Oz on his daytime talk show, Dr. Plan Ozwhich was broadcast on 14 Oct. 2021.
“I take 18-20 pills a day,” he admitted.
The doctor warned him how dangerous that amount was even now that he was sober.
Plus, he pointed out the obvious, “18-20 Vicodin a day, that’s expensive!”

Her response prompted Dash to admit that she lost “everything” to the addiction. Conservative stated that he spends “about five to ten thousand” a month on Vicodin.
Dash preceded his interview with Dr. Oz in a Facebook post on October 13 described the revelation as “the darkest secret”.
“Tomorrow, I will share my deepest and darkest secret. I thank God for being able to say that I have grown better in the past 5 years than I have in my entire life,” he shared. “I am very lucky to be surrounded by people who love and support me through the most challenging times. Thank you all!”
