Since the beginning of the year, 14 members of Kennedy’s new campaign have quit, Mediaite reported, citing several sources who spoke to the outlet on condition of anonymity.
A source close to the campaign blamed Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, Kennedy’s campaign manager and daughter-in-law, and Del Bigtree, the campaign’s director of anti-vaxxer communications, who were both “self-serving” and acting for their “own personal advancement. “
“The campaign is a mess because the top management is made up of people who serve their own needs rather than the needs of the candidate,” another source complained. “No one has political experience and it shows.”

Campaign workers were reportedly shocked by the recent release of an FEC report that revealed excessive payments to some leaders.
Bigtree’s KFP Consulting firm was paid $35,000 in December alone; An LLC registered to campaign COO Matthew Sanders earned $21,000 a month, and another entity linked to campaign aide Charles Eisenstein earned more than $64,000 in the last three months of 2023, according to the filing.

“When the reports came out and everyone saw the obscene amounts of money that some people were making, when they were often paying for their own promotional materials out of pocket and couldn’t cover their gas money, a lot of people started to think that people were cheating and sneaking to line their pockets,” said a campaign worker.
The employee recalled one instance when staff were insulted to see Bigtree participating in a Zoom meeting from a ski resort.
“Del is running around spending money lavishly,” another source said. “He’s doing Zoom calls from the slopes with champagne while a lot of people are volunteering and not getting paid.”
