Paulina Porizkova Admits She Cut Back on Pilates Because of Her ‘Wonky’ Hips

In a recent Instagram post, the popular author posted a 29-second clip set to Sia’s hit song “Unstoppable” that shows her doing shoulder presses with dumbbells and working her arms on a machine with the help of a trainer.

“Keeping in shape after menopause takes a lot of effort. Especially when you have curvy hips,” she confessed in her lengthy caption.

“I’ve had to cut back on my Pilates since I got back to shoot #beyondtheedge jungle because my hips weren’t cooperating,” she admitted. “Instead, what I’m doing, for now, is some serious PT. I found a great personal trainer at my local Crunch, Shelly, who replaces hip PT with strength training. But because I have traveled a lot, my results are not consistent.”

“So, yes, there is a downside to aging,” he wrote. “One has to work harder at things that are considered trivial. Outside. However, internally, all the hard work that has been put in is finally paying off.”

“I may not be as strong or as soft or as delicate as my youth, but I am comfortable with my weaknesses, aware of my weaknesses, proud of my strengths – and most importantly, have the wisdom to put it all together and be happy with the results,” he concluded.
