As previously reported, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss checked into a motel, located less than a mile from his home in LA, on Monday morning. Hotel staff claimed the beloved DJ and dancer did not appear to be in any kind of distress and did not seem upset when she checked in. The 40-year-old star had a small bag with her and had booked a room for one night.

On Tuesday, ‘tWitch’ missed check-out, and that’s when hotel staff went to check on her and found her dead in her hotel room.

Law enforcement responded to a 9-1-1 call early Tuesday morning, shortly before the news broke. Now, police officials are releasing additional details, including the fact that tWitch left a suicide note in the motel room.

While specific details of the note have not been released, law enforcement told TMZ that the note mentioned “past challenges,” though it’s not clear what he meant.

Now, it’s being reported that the reason her car is still at home is because the “So You Think You Can Dance” star took an Uber to the motel. No one can call tWitch because she put her phone on airplane mode.

According to a coroner’s office report, an autopsy on Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss has been completed, although the autopsy report will not be released for several weeks. The cause of death was confirmed as a gunshot wound to the head, by suicide.
