Connie Boss Alexander has broken her silence on the death of her son, Stephen “tWitch” Boss.
She took to Instagram to thank friends and well wishes who have supported the family as they try to cope with the loss of Stephen.
He also wrote a touching note to his late son, saying, “your mother loved you forever and ever.”
Stephen’s wife previously confirmed his death and asked for privacy as his family mourns their loss. Top Hollywood figures also paid tribute to Stephen throughout the week, including his former boss Ellen DeGeneres.

Via Instagram on Dec 15, Connie spoke out for the first time since her celebrity son, Dj, tragically ended his life. In her emotional post, she thanked friends and well-wishers who supported the family as they tried to come to terms with Stephen’s death.
“Family and friends, thank you for all the love, prayers, and encouragement,” she wrote on her Instagram story, each E! News.

After expressing her gratitude, the grandmother of three revealed that she will not be able to reply to messages for the time being as she is still dealing with the trauma of her son’s departure.
He added, “Please know I see all the messages, texts, posts and phone calls. I can’t use words right now. Please know I’ll get back to you when I can.”
Connie’s message also included a request that everyone continue to pray for the family. He then wrote a touching speech to his late son, which read, “your mother loves you forever and ever.”

The previous day, Allison Holker, Stephen’s wife of nine years, had informed the public of her husband’s death and asked for privacy for herself and her three children.
“It is with a heavy heart that I have to share that my husband Stephen has left us,” she said, per E! News. “Stephen lights up every room he walks into. He values family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and light is everything to him.”
The mother of three added that her family will remember her every day.
“To say she left a legacy is an understatement, and her positive impact will continue to be felt,” the actress said. “I’m sure there won’t be a day that goes by where we don’t honor his memory.

Hollywood’s biggest names have been paying tribute to Stephen throughout the week, a clear indication that he made an impact on many people during his lifetime.
“I’ve known Twitch for over 20 years through the dance community—he always lights things up….. You will be missed, Sir. Calm down.” Justin Timberlake, who is friends with Stephen, wrote on Twitter.
Another celebrity friend, Channing Tatum, wrote on Instagram, “I have no words..My head or heart can’t comprehend this. There are so many… I don’t even know where to start. I love you. I’ll see you again, my friend. See you later.”
Talk show host DeGeneres, who worked with Stephen on his eponymous show for years, also wrote an emotional message of condolence on her Instagram page.
He said, “He is my family, and I love him with all my heart. I will miss it. Please send your love and support to Allison and her beautiful children.”

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner, Stephen died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The 40-year-old reportedly left his home, where he lived with his wife and children, and went to a hotel in Los Angeles to end his life.
The late DJ and dancer is widely recognized for collaborating with DeGeneres on her show. He joined the show in 2014 and was promoted to executive producer in 2020.
He continued on the show until 2022 when the talk show host announced that he was ending the long-running program. tWitch is also associated with the dance reality show, “So You Think You Can Dance,” where she stars as a dancer-turned-judge.
