Steve Drazkowski is a firearms safety educator for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, a Wabasha County 4-H volunteer, and past president of the Minnesota Forage and Grassland Council. Drazkowski campaigned unsuccessfully for the Minnesota Senate District 28 seat in 2006.
He then campaigned for and was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in a special election held on August 7, 2007, when Representative Steve Sviggum resigned to become Minnesota’s Commissioner of Labor and Industry. In 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020, he was re-elected.
