In the filing, a disgruntled car owner, identified as Horacio Vela, has sued Ruck following a horrific car accident, which included the actor crashing into a pizzeria.

The alleged victim added that Ruck’s actions forced his car into oncoming traffic, where he collided with another vehicle turning onto La Brea Avenue. As we reported, Ruck’s vehicle went on a rampage and ended up crashing into a pizza shop, known as Raffalo’s Pizza.

follow NBC News, Neama Rahmani, Vela’s lawyer, said, “An accident happened. That’s what insurance is for. But Alan Ruck’s insurance company, State Farm, refused to accept responsibility for the crash.”

Rahmani continued, “Ruck said he didn’t know what happened, and the Los Angeles Police Department said it was a vehicle issue while Rivian, the manufacturer, said the truck was working fine. In this case, multiple people were violated, and businesses were damaged. We believe Ruck is responsible for the damage, and we filed a lawsuit seeking subpoenaed evidence and witnesses to prove our case.”

Ruck has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
