Sudipta Roy was born on September 30, 2000 to Mr. Swades Roy and Mrs. Dipti Roy in Tripura, India. She completed her education from Heritage Academy High School and then went to The Bhawanipur Education Society College to pursue a degree in English literature. Sudipta has a younger brother Soumyadeep Roy.

Career
Sudipta started her acting career with the television series Chokher Bali as Ashalata. The story, beautifully carved by Tagore, reflects the man-woman relationship and much more. After the show, he got recognition from the audience and soon got cast in some popular TV series like Adorini, Khirer Putul and many more.
Sudipta received immense appreciation for acting in and as Adorini. The story revolves around a poor village girl, Adorini who has a pet parrot named Sallubhai, with whom she performs street shows. However, when she falls in love with Rayan, he and her parrot teach her the small joys of life.
She later showcased her talent in another superhit show Pherari Mon as Tulsi where she fought the discrimination she faced due to her gender. The actor has worked hard to get into the skin of the character.
