Sukh Mhanje Nakki Kaay Asta is a Marathi language drama serial directed by Chandrakant Kanse. The show is based on the Bengali serial, Ke Apon Ke Por. Starring Girija Prabhu and Mandar Jadhav in lead roles, the show premiered on 17 August 2020.
The show revolves around the rich Kolhapur Patil family and explains how Malhar and Uday influenced by their respective wives Shalini and Devki try to cheat their parents Yashwant Shirke-Patil (Dadasaheb) and Nandini (Mai) and use their money for personal needs. and interests. The family also consists of a maid, Gauri who was adopted by the Patil family after her father sacrificed himself to save Dadasaheb’s life. Dadasaheb and Mai treat him like their own son but other family members mistreat him, except Malhar. The story begins when Patil’s youngest son, Jaydeep, returns from London with his girlfriend, Jyotika, whom he intends to marry. Away from his orthodox patriarchal family, Jaydeep’s mentality is not influenced by his greedy siblings. He wants to keep his family together and provide Gauri with the love she deserves. Later, a situation came when to protect his honor he had to marry Gauri. Will Jaydeep succeed in his plan to unite his family is the central plot of the story.
Sukh Mhanje Nakki Kaay Asta is quite popular among the Marathi audience, and has always found its place in the Top 5 weekly Marathi shows in BARC ratings. It was initially put under production in March 2020 but due to Covid-19 related restrictions the show gradually came to a halt. Finally, the filling started in July 2020. Plans were released on August 17, 2020.
It airs from Monday to Friday at 9:30 pm on Star Pravah and Star Pravah HD channels. The show is also available on Disney+ Hotstar for online streaming.
