Birth & Early Life
Suman Dey was born on 1 June in Siliguri, West Bengal. He has completed his schooling from a local private school in Siliguri. Later, Suman went to Christ University, Bangalore where he graduated in B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce).

Career
Suman Dey started her acting career by first appearing in the serial Mata Ki Chowki. He played the role of Arjun with Sangeeta Khanayat in 2008-11. After making her debut, she appeared in the romantic drama serial Bokul Kotha as Jashojeet Bose in 2017 and the comedy drama serial Bodhuboron as Abhra Chowdhury. The Bodhuboron series is a remake of the Hindi daily soap opera Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.
Later, Suman got an opportunity to play the lead role of Sid in the Bengali romantic TV serial Harano Sur. The series is directed by Gopal Chakraborty.
After a brief acting career, Suman appeared as Dwarikanath Biswas in the historical mythological daily soap Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni. The story of this serial is based on the life of Sarada Devi and Ramkrishna Paramhansha Dev. In this series Suman worked with Ditipriya Roy and Gazi Abdun Noor. In June 2022, Suman made headlines for reprising the lead role in Aniruddha Roy’s romantic family drama serial Tumii Je Amar Maa alongside Priya Mondal.
