Sumbul Touqeer Khan is an Indian film and television actor. She is famous for playing the lead role in Star Plus TV series ‘Imlie’ (2020).

His parents divorced when he was six years old. He also tried to find a suitable match for his father, but his father denied him. In an interview, he talked about it. He said,
My parents divorced when I was six years old, although life was different but it was not difficult because I loved my father who took care of me and my sister like father and mother, both of them. My father used to wake us up for school, get us ready, prepare our breakfast and after we used to go to school he would go to work. I was very close with my mother until we were in Delhi, my father didn’t have any problem with that. But after we moved to Mumbai, I lost touch with my mother.”
In June 2023, Sumbul and her sister Saniya Touqeer made an announcement that their father had decided to have a second marriage. The woman he married named Nilofar had previously separated from her first husband and had a daughter named Izra from her previous marriage.

Sumbul started his career as a child artist. He has participated in various reality TV shows such as ‘DID Lil Masters’ (2015).
In 2011, she played the role of Shubhada in the Sony TV series ‘Chandragupta Maurya.’ In 2013, she appeared in the popular TV series ‘Jodha Akbar’ where she played the role of Mehtab. He has also acted in the TV series ‘Waaris’ in 2016 and ‘Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein’ in 2019.
In 2018, she appeared in the Hindi short film ‘Ghar Ki Jyoti.’ He acted in the popular Hindi film ‘Article 15’ (2019) starring Ayushmann Khurrana. She came into limelight with the Star Plus series ‘Imlie’ in which she played the lead role in 2020.

So this acting ka keeda was basically given to me and my sister (who is also an actor) by our father. My sister and I did a lot of Krishna and Ram Leela plays in Delhi from where we gravitated towards acting.”
