Sunil Holkar has worked in the television and film industry for almost 12 years. He has made a brief appearance in the popular TV show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.’
He also appeared in TV shows like ‘Barrister Babu’ (2020), ‘Maddam Sir’ (2020) and ‘Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey’ (2021). Apart from television shows, the actor also appeared in supporting roles in various Marathi films including ‘Sagla Karun Bhagle’ (2011), ‘Lau Ka Laath’ (2012), and ‘Mandali Tumchyasathi Kay Pan’ (2013). In 2022, he last appeared in the National Award winning Marathi film “Goshta Eka Paithanichi” where he played the role of Ashok.
Death
Sunil Holkar died on 13 January 2023, after suffering from cirrhosis of the liver for which he had undergone treatment. Before his death, Holkar noticed his deteriorating health and asked one of his close friends to share a ‘last post’ on WhatsApp on his behalf. In his last post, Holkar bid farewell to everyone and also apologized for the mistakes he had made.
