This is the single most watched program in the world, that is what is mentioned in the world record and made history. Whenever the history of Indian cinema will be written the name of Ramayan will always be written with golden words. The character Lakshman played by me has also impacted my life and helped me build my life & relationship with the world… I thank God for choosing me to play this role as the audience loved me & gave me an unforgettable celebrity status…. The most beautiful part of the epic Ramayan is, it teaches human values that is why this program is favored by caste and religion & loved by all.”

His father had written in his will for the same; ten years before his death. In his will, he had mentioned that he wanted to donate his body to a medical college so that students there could do more research on anatomy. Sunil said,
He had expressed this wish more than ten years ago and when he passed away recently we fulfilled his wish. As my father is a member of the medical fraternity and also a professor in a medical college so he was aware of the problems faced by students in studies due to lack of availability of human anatomy for studies so he took this decision which has led to the effect that several people in Bhopal have come forward and have expressed their desire to do so. Since my father also does a lot of social activities so he always thinks about things for the common good.”
