At first, he used to do pranks in public, then, he started making prank videos with his family members, parents and wife. - In an interview, he talked about how he came up with the name “Tehelka Prank” for his YouTube channel. He said that he was a famous kid in childhood who used to imitate the voice of a girl or an old man to amuse his friends. Some of his friends would say “Tu sahi tehelka machata hai” and some would say “Sahi tabaahi macha rakhi hai tuhne school mein.” Years later, when he decided to start a YouTube channel, he got confused between the words “Tehelka” and “Tabaahi” to name his channel. After discussing the same with his wife, he finalized the name Tehelka Prank.
- In an interview, his wife, Deepika, revealed that he has two siblings, a brother and a sister, who are blind. Deepika’s father often worries about who will take care of the blind siblings when he is gone. Deepika, along with her father, wanted to provide something that could feed the blind siblings for life. He had no plans to get married when he first met Sunny. However, Sunny impressed his father by promising to always take care of the blind siblings and provide for them. The gesture caused Deepika’s father to agree to marry Deepika.
