Supriya Sule is an Indian politician from the NCP. She is the daughter of veteran politician, Sharad Pawar. Sule is a 3-time Member of Parliament.

Supriya Sule was born on Monday, 30 June 1969 (age 54; in 2023) in Poona, Maharashtra (now Pune). His zodiac sign is Cancer. He attended school from St. Columbus School in Pune. He is pursuing a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Jai Hind College in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He did his post-graduation in water pollution from the University of California, Berkeley. After graduating from college, he lived in Indonesia and Singapore before returning to Mumbai.

Supriya Sule is of Maratha Ethnicity, and she belongs to Other Backward Caste (OBC) (Note: According to Gazette of India those who have surname like ‘Powar’ or ‘Pawar’ but do not belong to this community, should not be included in the mentioned community on top). His father, Sharad Pawar is a veteran politician and founder of the NCP. His mother’s name is Pratibha Pawar. His cousin, Ajit Pawar is also a famous Indian politician. He is married to Sudananda Sule. They have two children together, Revati Sule and Vijay Sule.

Politics
Supriya Sule was elected to the Rajya Sabha from Maharashtra for the first time in 2006. In 2009, she contested the General Election from the Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency of Maharashtra and won with a margin of 3.36 lacs votes. On 10 June 2012, during the 12th foundation day of NCP, she launched the “Rashtravadi Yuvati Congress” in Mumbai to provide a platform to young girls to join politics. In 2014 and 2019, he was re-elected to the Lok Sabha from the Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency of Maharashtra.

On 10 June 2023, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar declared Praful Patel and Supriya Sule as working presidents of the party.
Controversy
- In April 2010, when Sharad Pawar was BCCI President, Supriya Sule, along with her husband and Pawar’s family, allegedly held 16% equity in City Corporation, a company that had participated in the bid for an IPL cricket team. Sule denied all the charges and said that they had nothing to do with the IPL bidding. However, several news agencies showed evidence that they had significant connections and equity in the company, and that there were many financial irregularities.
- On 13 September 2019, Sule was harassed by a taxi driver at Dadar terminus in Central Mumbai. Reportedly, a taxi driver entered his train compartment and started offering him a taxi service. Even after refusing his service many times, the taxi driver blocks his path, and upon realizing who he is, he forcibly starts taking pictures with him.

- In 2006, after being elected to the Rajya Sabha, he started a state-level campaign against women poisoning. His campaign involved padayatras, college events, competitions, and other such activities.
- In 2009, he contested the General Election from the Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency. Baramati constituency was originally Sharad Pawar’s stronghold. However, since 2009, Supriya has contested from Baramati, and she was elected in 2009, 2014, and 2019.
