Career
He started his career in films at the age of 11, as a cashier for the film ‘Rao Gari Illu (1988).’ When he was 16, he organized the schedule of Visakhapatnam Gaayam (1993). At the age of 18, he made his acting debut with the film Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi (1996).
After his films did not do well, he decided to leave acting and started producing. The first film he produced was “Aaha…” (1997).
Since then, he worked as a producer and became an executive director for a production company called Annapurna Studios in 2000. In 2018, he made a comeback as an actor with “Goodachari.”
Facts/Trivia
- When acting didn’t work out for Supriya, she decided to do something else. He went to his uncle Nagarjuna and asked him if he had any work for him. He produced “Aaha…! (1997)” at the time and took him on as a producer.
- In an interview, he revealed that he would love to play a negative role in the film. He added-
I will be doing a negative role and I personally believe I will suit a negative role.”
- She is rumored to be married to Adivi Sesh. When things got out of control, Adivi took to her social media account to announce that she was thinking only about her career and not marriage.
- In 2018, he was appointed as the convener of the Joint Action Committee, which was formed with 21 members after the casting scandal in the South Indian Film Industry began to escalate. The committee was formed specifically for actors who have been victims of casting couch and protect them from it.
