Birth & Early Life
Surjit was born on 29 May 1993 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He has completed his schooling from St. Orphanage & Day School. Mary, then she went to the International Institute of Fashion Design to further her education and pursue a degree in Fashion Design.
Surjit wanted to be an actor since childhood. He credits his parents for his success, their endless support and encouragement is what drives him to work hard.

Career
Surjit started his career as a fashion stylist and later participated in several modeling competitions. He has done several print shoots for newspapers such as Sakalbela and The Telegraph. After a brief modeling career, he entered the world of acting and made his debut with the television series Chidiya Ghar on SAB TV as Rajveer in 2014.
Later, Surjit was called in the television drama series Thapki Pyaar Ki season 1 in 2015, where he appeared as Sunil Kumar Ahuja.
Surjit gained popularity through his role in the serial drama Badi Door Se Aaye Hai as Agent Q produced by Jamnadas Majethia. The series depicts the story of a family that came to earth with the aim of finding their eldest brother and lost the son they were looking for on many planets.
After that, Surjit appeared in Ekta Kapoor’s TV series Chandrakanta on Colors TV, where he played the role of Bhuwan. He was also a part of the series Khichdi aired on StarPlus channel where he appeared in a guest role as a Bengali Painter.
Surjit made headlines for playing Bunty Pushkar Chaudhary in the serial Rajjo produced by Mukta Dhond and Bodhisatva Datta. The series is based on the Kedarnath Flood.
