Texas police are investigating an incident in which a car crashed into a Denny’s restaurant and injured at least 23 people on Labor Day.
The crash happened at a Denny’s restaurant in Rosenberg, Texas, at about 11:20 a.m. Monday.
The SUV crashed into the south wall of the building, injuring 23 people.
Rosenberg is located west of Houston.
Police said that none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
The Rosenberg Police Department told Fox News Digital that the victims ranged in age from 12 to 60 years old.
“The injuries ranged from minor cuts to serious injuries, but all appeared to be non-life threatening,” police chief Jonathan White told Fox News Digital.
“All the injured parties were conscious when they were taken to a local hospital,” added White.
The vehicle was a maroon Jeep SUV, and the driver was a man in his 30s. The driver was not injured in the accident.
“So far, the driver has not been arrested but charges may be filed later, if appropriate based on the results of the pending investigation,” said the police.
