Career
From a young age, Suvinder tended to act like his father, who while working a steady job, used to act and direct theater productions in Chandigarh. In an interview, he revealed that the first theater production in which he acted was Andheri Nagri Chaupat Raja by Bhartendu Harishchandra when he was in the eighth standard at school. While completing his studies, Suvinder participated in various drama competitions, youth festivals, and theater productions. Before acting in films, he started working with Punjabi television channel Lashkara TV in Chandigarh.
Movie
In 2004, Suvinder started acting in Punjabi films and made his debut with the Punjabi film Des Hoyaa Pardes in which he played the role of Sukhbeer Singh, starring Gurdas Mann and Juhi Chawla.
Later, he appeared in Punjabi films Munde UK De (2009) as Savinderpal Vicky and Yaraan Naal Baharaan 2 (2012) as Khaarku Singh. In 2015, he received positive acclaim for playing the role of Joginder Singh in the Punjabi film Chauthi Koot (The Fourth Direction).
In 2016, Suvinder made her Bollywood debut with the film Udta Punjab in which she played the role of Kakku.
In 2019, he gained recognition in Bollywood for playing the role of Naik Lal Singh in the film Kesari, starring Akshay Kumar.
In 2020, Suvinder played the role of a truck driver, Ghalib, in the Hindi film Milestone (Meel Patthar) on Netflix. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role for the film Milestone at the FOI Online Awards 2020.
