Career
Suzanne started her singing career singing the song Khalish from the movie Chocolate. He has worked with several music directors including Shankae Raja, Bappi Lahiri, AR Rahman, Pritam, Anu Malik etc. She gained popularity for the song Mahiya from the movie Awaarapan for which she received her first award for outstanding singing in the Stardust Awards in 2008. The trend was later followed by a string of super hits like Pyaar Karke from the movie Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Meow from the movie Golmaal Returns , Jee Karda from the movie Singh is King etc.
Suzanne grabbed the headlines for her super hit song Aye Bachchu from the movie Ghanjini followed by Rishtey Naatey from De Dana Dan, Surili Ankhiyon Wale from Veer and Chiggya Wiggy from Blue.
Later, Suzanne made her South film debut with the songs Nalamdhana from Silambattam (Tamil), Hosannah from Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya (Tamil) and Ayyayo Ayyayo from, Veera Parampare (Kannada). Apart from Bollywood, she has two songs Dreams on Fire and Latika’s Theme in the Oscar and Grammy Award winning soundtrack of Bollywood film Slumdog Millionaire in 2008.
