Career

Swapnil Joshi started his acting career at the age of 9 with the TV serial “Uttar Ramayana” (1986) where he played the role of ‘Kusha.’ He rose to fame by playing the role of young ‘Krishna’ in the epic TV series “Shri Krishna.”

    When I was in my first year of college, one of my fans came up to me and suddenly knelt down. He touched my feet and started crying. It was an awkward moment for me. A few minutes later, he told me that he was a chain smoker. He stopped smoking because he was a God fearing person. Whenever he smoked a cigarette, my image as Lord Krishna would appear before him. That awkward moment soon turned into a happy moment for me.”
