The series’ social media account wrote: while sharing an update on the upcoming season along with some first look photos:
“Please mix it all up. We are back! Sweet Appetite Season 2 will be available exclusively on Netflix on April 27.”
The first season ends with the Last Man imprisoning Gus in an abandoned menagerie. The Last Men are a militia organization led by the evil Chief Abbot (Neil Sandilands). Gus (Christian Convery) decided to join Dr. Singh in season 2 to defend his friends, thereby “beginning a bleak voyage back to his beginnings and his mother Birdie’s (Amy Seimetz) involvement in the events that build up to The Great Collapse.”
