In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, the “Creed” star opened up about Adele’s home purchase. According to him, the “Easy on Me” singer was attracted to the statue of his character Rocky from the American sports drama film in 1976.
The finely carved statute, which overlooks the property’s outdoor pool area, has a fist pointing to the sky. The 76-year-old actor intends to leave the property with the statue. However, Adele had other plans. He insisted that he wanted it to remain with the property.
Recalling their deal, Stallone explained, “He said, ‘That’s not a deal. That would ruin the whole deal.’ He wants the statue.” While the “Water Under The Bridge” hitmaker loved the statue, other statues didn’t impress him as much. The figure of the polo player on horseback across the park did not survive Adele’s makeover.
While the British singer doesn’t like the “Tulsa King” actor’s favorite Polo statue, he’s more impressed with the upgrade on his former property. Responding to his constant remodeling, he said, “I love what he’s doing. He made it beautiful.”
The sixteen-time Grammy winner snapped up the property in January 2022 for $58 million, receiving a whopping $52 million discount from the original $110 million listing in a deal that was an “outright steal.”
Stallone has lived in the Beverly Park home for decades, since the 90s. However, the actress decided to put it on the market due to her decision to move to Florida. The 3.6 acre luxury mansion is blessed with a number of amenities.

Some of the amenities include six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, gym, sauna, steam, infinity pool, cigar room, screening room, custom bar, art studio and a 2-story guest house. Adele also has a second property in LA, located in the Hidden Valley area.
