Action star Sylvester Stallone has reflected on his brief split with Jennifer Flavin.
The couple is one of the longest married couples in Hollywood, having tied the knot over 25 years ago. However, last August, the former model surprised fans by filing for divorce to end their marriage to the Hollywood veteran.

In an interview with Sunday TimesThe 76-year-old Rocky actor opened up about his split from wife Jennifer Flavin, who previously filed for divorce after 25 years of marriage last August.
The news, which went viral at the time, also revealed that the couple was set for a massive court battle to share the wealth they had accumulated over their marriage. However, after an intimate discussion away from public view, they ended their disagreement and continued their union.
Speaking to the publication, Stallone shared that the separation period was a “very tumultuous time” for him. In those moments, he had to do a lot of self-introspection to help him realize that preparation for his family should come before any of his other engagements.
The actor said, per Yahoo, “There is a resurgence of what is more precious than anything, which is my love for my family. It took precedence over my work, and that was a hard lesson to learn.”

Reflecting further on his marriage to the former model, Stallone revealed that he once put Hollywood ahead of his home life, seemingly suggesting that it slowly pushed their marriage and the relationship he shares with the children.
The “Creed” actress and Flavin share three daughters, Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20. Stallone also shares son Seargeoh, 43, with ex Sasha Czack.
“I didn’t pay enough attention when they were growing up,” he told the publication ruefully. “I’m very career-oriented, and now I’m saying, ‘OK, I don’t have a lot of runway ahead, and I want to start asking them about their lives.'”
