In May, Lizzo took to Twitter to respond to people criticizing her weight and eating habits. The “Am I Ready” singer wrote that she’s trying to “live and be healthy” and is tired of body shaming.

His tweet read, “I JUST signed in, and the app and this is the kind of crap I see about me everyday. It started to make me hate the world.” Lizzo shared that she “stopped eating fast food a few years ago” and was tired of “explaining myself all the time.”

She went on to write, “I’m not trying to be fat. I’m not trying to BE smaller. I’m just trying to live and be healthy. My body looks like this even though I eat very clean and exercise! You’re going to talk in s**t you know NOTHING ABOUT, and I’m starting to get hot.”

The “Truth Hurts” singer also wrote that the love she’s received “definitely doesn’t outweigh the hate on social media.” Lizzo threatened to give up her music career and enjoy “money and men on the F**KING farm.”
