Fashion Designer
Tan France started his career as a retail designer at Zara after his college. He then increased his expertise in designing, delivering, and wholesale manufacturing by working with major fashion lines like Selfridges, Chanel, and Bershka. France started with designing menswear but eventually shifted to womenswear. In 2008, he began working in the United States while living in New York City. Soon after in 2015, he shifted to the US. In 2011, Tan France opened his own fashion brand, ‘Kingdom & State,’ before which he worked as a director at Shade Clothing. His brand incorporated clothing designed to meet Mormon clothing guidelines. He later created two lesser remarkable clothing lines. France’s unique designs were acquired by retailers Forever 21 and Modcloth. Later, in 2016, tan France became the co-founder, designer, and CEO of the Rachel Parcell Inc clothing line, which was sold at Nordstrom.

After selling his businesses, France took an official retirement. Thereafter, Netflix came up with a proposal for him to appear as a fashion expert in the series ‘Queer Eye’ (2018) which resulted to be a boon in his life.
