- She froze her eggs when she was 39 years old. In an interview, while talking about freezing her eggs, she said,
I want to freeze my eggs at 33! Back then, when I went to my doctor (who ended up freezing my eggs now)… it was funny but he stopped me from doing that at the time. Although he told me it takes a toll on your body, he advised me to do it when I had no hope of conceiving a baby. It is a personal choice. And today, it’s okay not to have children. Take it, it is enough in this world.”

- In 2019, Tanishaa faced racist attacks in New York when she traveled to the US to attend the CRY America charity gala. After the gala, she went to a nightclub with her friends, where a man allegedly made inappropriate remarks. In an interview, he spoke about the incident and said,
I don’t understand what triggered it because I am polite, but he became rude. One of the workers, an African-American, said that we looked like we just got off the boat and couldn’t speak English. That’s insulting and blatantly racist. My friends and I were shocked. It is traumatic to experience this kind of racism in the US; I never faced it earlier. I told them to call the police, but they refused to do so.”
