Television
Tanushree Kaushal started her career as a theater artiste and acted in various plays including Hindi and regional languages like Gujarati, Marathi and Punjabi. He started his Hindi TV career with several characters and supporting roles in various daily soaps such as Dial 100 (2001), Ssshhhh… Koi Hai (2002), and Rooh (2004). Meanwhile, he also appeared in several TV commercials that went largely unnoticed.
Later, he gained popularity for playing negative roles. In 2004, he appeared on Malini Iyer’s Sahara One TV show where he shared the screen with legendary actress Sridevi.

In 2006, she came into limelight with Zee TV’s show Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann where she played the role of Menka Garodia, the evil “choti ma” of four girls. In the show, Menka is jealous of the money spent on the girls and wants to keep the wealth for herself.

In 2007, she started appearing in the Zee TV serial Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka where she played the role of Bulbul (Titli’s older sister). In 2008, Vineet Raina and Tanushree Kaushal appeared as contestants in the 4th season of the dance reality show Nach Baliye.
