He started playing cricket at a young age for Horsham Cricket Club.
In 2017, she emailed several clubs in Melbourne and got a response from the Prahran Cricket Club which she joined in 2017. In 2013, she played in the Women’s Domestic U15 Twenty20. In 2016, she played the role of Women’s One Innings Domestic Representative and Women’s Twenty20 Domestic Representative. In 2017, she played in the Women’s Domestic Twenty20 and the Women’s Club Twenty20.
Domestic Cricket
In 2014, she made her debut for Sussex women’s cricket team against Warwickshire women’s cricket team but was not given a chance to play in the match. In 2015, she played the Women’s Twenty20 Cup for Sussex. In 2018, she took 10 wickets at an average of 10.30 in the Women’s District Tournament. In 2019, he became the team’s second leading wicket-taker in a T20 match with Warwickshire. In that match, he became the opening batsman and hit his maiden county half-century by scoring 59 runs. In 2017, she joined the Southern Vipers team in the Women’s Cricket Super League. He bowled three overs and took the wicket of Jenny Gunn for which he received much credit. In 2018, he joined the Loughborough Lightning team but did not get a chance to play for them until 2019. During the tournament, he bowled three overs but failed to pick up any wickets. In April 2018, he became an ambassador for the Loughborough lightning cricket team.
In 2020, he again joined the Southern Vipers for the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and played seven matches. His team won the final against Northern Diamonds by 38 runs. During the tournament, in a match against the Western Storm, he took 12 wickets at an average of 17.91 and took figures of 4/45 to become the joint third wicket-taker in the entire tournament. In 2021, he bagged 13 wickets at an average of 13.30 in the Charlotte Edwards Trophy to become the joint second leading wicket-taker. In 2021, in a match against Loughborough Lightning, he bowled 3.5 overs and took 4/14 which was his best Twenty20 bowling. In 2021, he played the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and achieved his best bowling figures of 4/14 after taking 11 wickets at 30.09 against North West Thunder. In the final, he put on a stunning partnership with Emily Windsor and was not out on 40 runs which saw his team Southern Vipers win the match by 109/7. In an interview, he talked about his performance and said,
Dramatic game of cricket with lots of ups and downs. I thought we played really well at the start and we knew it was a reachable amount to chase. I’m glad I was there at the end with Winny (Emily Windsor) to see him home. When I walked out, I just said to Winny, we’ve got to figure it out. If we bowl 50 overs we win the game. So it’s about holding our nerve a bit longer, playing our normal cricket, no high risk.”
In 2021, he was part of the Southern Brave in the 2021 season of The Hundred and played six matches where he took 3 wickets at an average of 22.66. In 2022, he played the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and took 12 wickets at an average of 19.75 making him Southern Vipers’ leading wicket taker. In 2022, he took 2 wickets in four matches in the Charlotte Edwards Trophy. In 2022, he played The Hundred but did not get a chance to play any matches for the Southern Brave squad. At the end of the tournament, it was announced that he was joining the North West Thunder.
International Cricket
In September 2021, she played in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier for the USA squad and made her Twenty20 international debut against Brazil on 18 October 2021. She played five matches in which she took 4 wickets at an average of 7.75 after which she qualified to ICC Women’s World Twenty20 2022. She bowled 4 overs of which 2 were maidens, gave away 5 runs and took 2 wickets in her T20I debut- USA Women vs Brazil Women in Naucalpan.
In October 2021, she was part of the American squad for the Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifying tournament in Zimbabwe. In 2022, she was part of the Women’s Twenty20 Cup against Surrey and took 8 wickets at an average of 7.87 and earned Twenty20 best bowling figures of 4/11. In 2018, he played in a tournament in South Africa for the England Development and Academy teams. In 2023, he was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs. 10 Lakh for Women’s Premier League (cricket).
Cricket Coach
After completing his schooling, he took a gap year and decided to play and become a cricket coach. In 2015, he started coaching cricket at Bricklehurst Manor School, England. In July 2016, he started coaching at Sussex County Cricket Club. In December 2016, he became a cricket coach at Melbourne Grammar School in Australia. In April 2017, he became a cricket coach for the charity organization, Chance to Shine. In May 2017, he became the cricket pitching coach at Rottingdean cricket club for the Boys’ 1st to 4th teams. He coached cricket at Eastbourne College, England. In an interview, he talked about this and said,
When I was in school there were no female role models to look up to. So, that’s why my job is to coach these girls and show them what can be achieved. I’m very happy to be able to do it.”
