The two, who were romantically linked together earlier last month ended their very short relationship amid a string of controversies surrounding Healy making the news.

News of Swift’s split from Healy comes a day after she was spotted kissing a security guard at one of her shows. The rock star, famous for kissing fans at his shows, grabbed an unsuspecting security guard by the neck and pulled him in for a passionate kiss on the lips.
Her actions at the time raised eyebrows as many believed it was inappropriate for her to kiss the male security guard, given her speculated relationship with Swift.

As seen in the TikTok video, Healy had vowed to kiss fans in early January, especially since he was in front of the “queen,” Swift. The singer announced to the audience that he would not be kissing any of them because Swift, who then took the stage for a brief performance, was in attendance.
Healy said at the time, “I’m not kissing anyone in front of Taylor Swift, respect. In front of the queen, it doesn’t happen.”

Swift has been the subject of controversy in recent months due to her association and rumored relationship with Healy, who has been accused of being racist and sexist.
Many of Healy’s controversial actions have been exposed due to his rumored relationship with Swift, with some fans calling out the “Out of the Woods” singer for being involved with her despite several instances of Healy being insensitive and rude.
Among many scathing revelations about Healy, he reportedly called American rapper Ice Spice “one of the Innuit Spice girls” and “a fat Chinese woman,” per Buzz feed.

Things got worse when Swift announced a collaboration with Ice Spice in the middle of her relationship with Healy. Many fans saw the move as calculated and an attempt to help absolve her boyfriend of his sins.
In addition to his racist jab at Ice Spice, Healy has also been accused of being anti-Semitic after a video clip of him giving a Nazi salute at a performance emerged amid his relationship with Swift. In the video, Healy sings, “Thank you, Kanye, so cool,” as he marches and raises his arms in a style similar to a Nazi salute.
Speaking about his Nazi signature, Healy claimed at the time that it was satire and his way of calling people to be Nazis.

The singer recently commented on the backlash he received from fans, calling them “deluded” and “pretty mental” because his actions were all jokes meant to bait people.
Healy said of his critics to New Yorkers, “But it doesn’t really matter. Nobody’s sitting there at night slumped in front of their computer, and their boyfriend comes over and says, ‘What’s up, honey?’ and they said, ‘It’s just this thing with Matty Healy.’ That didn’t happen.”
He continued, “If it happens, you’re either deceived or you’re, sorry, a liar. You’re either lying that you’re hurt, or you’re a bit mental for being hurt. It’s just that people will say, ‘Oh, there’s something bad there, let me get as close to it as possible so you can see how good I am.’”
Healy added, “And I kind of want them to do that, because they’re showing something very fundamental.”
