A 16-year-old Swiftie reportedly died on her way to a Taylor Swift concert in Sydney. The teenage girl and her sister were being driven by their mother when their car collided with a semi trailer.
When the teenager died after failing to be rescued, her sister and mother were rushed to hospital, with the former still in critical condition.

According to Daily Mail, The teenage Swiftie who died in a horrific motorway crash en route to a Taylor Swift concert has been identified.
Mieka Pokarier, 16, who was traveling with her mother and younger sister, suffered fatal injuries after their car crashed into a semi-trailer while traveling. Meika’s younger sister, Freya Pokarier, her mother, Kim Litchfield, and the driver of the semi-truck were also injured, with Freya alone in critical condition.
On Saturday, the boy’s father, Peter Pokarier, took to Facebook to mourn his loss, writing, “That’s my baby who died.”
The child’s godmother, Karleigh Fox, also shared her grief in an interview with courier mail, where he stated that both girls are looking forward to attending the 14-time Grammy Award winner’s concert.
“This should be the trip of a lifetime with them going to concerts in Melbourne and Sydney,” he said.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise money for the family, who have stopped their work commitments to rush to Westmead Hospital in Sydney, where Freya is fighting for her life amid possible brain injuries, a broken pelvis and a broken leg.
The young girl is currently in a medically induced coma, a condition that will continue for several more days to help her body rest that it needs for a potential recovery. However, the risk of possible brain damage remains, as there is still the possibility of swelling in the brain and the constant threat of infection.
Funds raised will be used to get through this challenging period, covering essential expenses while the family stays in Sydney to support and care for Freya. The page has raised AUD$25,171 from more than 530 donations, ranging from AUD$5 to AUD$1100.
