An insider close to the couple has revealed that nothing big will happen on Valentine’s Day in regards to the proposal from the NFL star. Swift and Kelce’s romance took the world by storm in September, and they’ve remained on fans’ lips ever since, with some guessing 2024 is the year the pop star becomes Mrs.

However, sources say that Kelce and Swift are looking at the summer – especially July – for the Kansas City Chiefs to raise big questions. The insider revealed that Kelce delayed the proposal during the holidays because “they didn’t want it to look like a mad rush.”
That is why they consider Valentine’s Day too early. However, the couple allegedly thought July was appropriate as it also marked their first anniversary of dating. “Taylor and Travis talked about it and there’s a plan,” the source told Page Six. “They will be engaged on their one year anniversary in July.”
While the world first caught a glimpse of Kelce and Swift’s budding romance in September when he showed up for one of her games, the “Blank Space” singer later revealed to Time Magazine for a Person of the Year interview that they had been dating long before the headline-making appearance at her boyfriend’s game.
