Singer Taylor Swift was nominated for five awards on Sunday night, all for her “All Too Well: The Short Film.”
The 15-minute love story based on her 10-minute song, “All Too Well,” from her 2021 album Red (Taylor’s Version), features “Stranger Things” alum Sadie Sink and “Teen Wolf” star Dylan O’Brien, while Taylor directed, wrote , and appears in short.
Of the five awards she was nominated for, Taylor won three of them, including the coveted Video of the Year Award.

The “Gorgeous” singer breaks records once again, as she is now the first and only artist ever to win a third video trophy of the year. She previously won in 2015 for her star-studded music video for “Bad Blood” and in 2019 for her hit “You Need to Calm Down.”

Taylor Swift Thanks Her Fans For The Win… By Giving Them A New Album!
In 2020, Taylor Swift released the folklore album sister and beyond. In 2021, he followed it up with Fearless (Taylor Version) and Red (Taylor Version). Fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of 1989 (Taylor’s Version), and while a few singles have been released here and there throughout the year, it looks like fans will finally be able to hear new music in October 2022.
“I decided that if you would be this generous, and give us this … I thought it might be a fun time to tell you my new album comes out Oct. 21, and I’ll tell you more at midnight,” he said when accepting his award .
“I am very honored to be recognized alongside such great artists and directors in this category,” he continued. “I just want to say that I’m very pleased with the fact that for the first time in VMA history the four directors nominated in the Best Video category are women.”

“You guys, I’m so proud of what we’ve made and I know with every second of this moment that we wouldn’t be able to make this short film if it wasn’t for you fans. I wouldn’t have been able to re-record my album if it wasn’t for you, you gave me the courage to do it.”
