Even the details some ‘Swifties’ and music fans might consider ordinary have generated great attention! Even the “Out Of The Woods” singer’s security details have gotten a lot of attention. From singing security guards that have become viral sensations to security situations that may have inspired some ‘bad blood’ in the Swiftie community, Swift’s security guards have become stars in their own right.

Earlier this spring, we saw a security guard who would go viral for his “passionate” showing of Swift’s catalog.
Nashville native Davis Perrigo caught the attention of the Swiftie community after a recording of Perrigo singing at work appeared on TikTok. Perrigo’s clear dedication to bringing his long transition to life by aligning Swift’s lyrics will lead to Perrigo receiving local and worldwide media coverage as well!
Before Perrigo joined Swift’s security staff, he was just a ‘regular’ Eras Tour participant. He detailed to Nashville News Channel 5 how he was called out for being “too loud” by security!

“I was reprimanded by Taylor’s security,” Perrigo said. “Said I was ‘too hard’ and needed to tone it down.” Behind the scenes, Perrigo initially applied to be a security guard so he could see Swift in person! He would later say it was a “blessing” he couldn’t print tickets because his security guard application would be approved, and he would be a mainstay at Swift’s show.
Another security guard working for Swift is going viral- but for a different reason.
Perrigo stated in his interview that there is a zero tolerance policy when it comes to flogging your phone while at work.
“If you take out your phone [on duty] like, we’re going to kick you out of here real quick,” Perrigo said. (per The Blast)
Reported Security Guard ‘Top Fan’ Toppled

Calvin Denker initially went viral for the same reasons as Perrigo. According to Variety, he wanted to find a sneaky way to attend Swift’s concerts on a regular basis, so he applied for job security.
Denker will gain attention after he was caught red-handed parodying Swift’s sleeper hit “Cruel Summer,” the outlet also reported.
He would later share more details about being fired for asking fans to keep Swift close to him.

Denker detailed in TikTok how she sent a message on paper to several fans close to her, filling them in on the situation; she wanted a picture taken and texted her if Swift wanted to approach her.
He also shared that the company that fired him would “[take] issue” with the situation, citing “rules prohibiting staff from taking pictures with performers.”
Denker will argue his innocence, insisting he followed protocol. He was afraid he kept the main priority of his job at the forefront of his intentions: safety.
“…And above all, I make sure Taylor Swift is safe, and all the fans are having fun. As long as I was at the concert, I was doing my job,” he stressed in the TikTok that was “updated” from this month.
Swift Interferes With Security Guard Meeting
MEGA
Three months ago, the “Daylight” singer had to stop from performing “1989’s” “Bad Blood” to intervene when a security guard and a fan reportedly got into an “altercation,” CBS News reported.
The fan would later tell her story on TikTok, claiming the security guard had allegedly “disrupted” her party “all night.”
Swift would tell the security guard, “He didn’t do anything!” after previously declaring that the contestant was “good”. He then had to tell the guards to “stop” their actions twice more.
In her TikTok, Kelly Inglis continued, “Every time we do anything, [the security guard] is like, above us. We danced and had fun, and he didn’t like it.”
Inglis and his friends were reportedly given tickets for the following night, and the offending security guard was “escorted” from the venue.
Cheer for lots of safety AND singing on one of the most extensive tours ever!
