Jenelle Evans has raised eyebrows about her parenting style and her daughter’s welfare after a recent TikTok video sparked concern among fans.
The ‘Teen Mom’ alum has been in the news for the wrong reasons after her husband, David Eason, was charged with child abuse following a shocking incident involving their son, Jace Evans.
Jenelle, however, remained by her husband’s side, denying all the accusations against him.

Over the weekend, the reality star engaged her three million followers on TikTok, sharing a video of her giving her daughter Ensley a trendy new haircut. While showing off the results, Jenelle made her daughter spin 360 degrees while looking into the camera.

The clip comes in the midst of Jenelle and her husband’s troubles with Child Protective Services, so fans seem to be keeping quite an eye on the seven-year-old’s behavior. Ensley looked somber as she stared into the camera but smiled briefly when her mother called her “beautiful.”
The video has over 14,000 likes and over 500 comments. However, some followers expressed concern about Ensley’s condition, claiming she looked scared and faked a smile. “So I’m the only one who noticed that the girl looked unhappy,” said one fan.
One follower observed, “She looks scared of you… like you just yelled at her,” while another wrote, “She looks like she’s about to start crying.” Another comment read, “She looks so unhappy,” while another follower said, “She looks upset.”
The “16 and Pregnant” star refused to respond to any negative comments. However, in a follow-up post, she responded to a video stitched up from critics who slammed her for posting a loved-up photo of her and Eason on Instagram.

Disappointed fans called out Jenelle for always “choosing men over her kids,” but the 31-year-old fired back with a video of herself in the car.

“Because I posted a picture of me and my husband, a photoshoot we did like three months ago before any of this happened, I’m a horrible person. I chose men over my children,” she began.
Then he proceeded to show Eason in the driver’s seat before declaring he had been with him since 2015. “I think you’re confused because the last time I checked on David [Eason] are part of our family, and I will not choose one or the other,” he continued. “So you say I should remain celibate for the rest of my life; not having a man and just being alone.”
As expected, the video got a great response from fans. One fan wrote, “Watching this video shows how much counseling you need. He’s family yes, but your son is BLOOD. As we previously reported, Eason was charged with misdemeanor child abuse in October after Child Protective Services (CPS) and North Carolina’s Columbus County Police became involved because Jace had recently run away from home.

The teenager has run away from home three times in one month, sparking fears about his well-being. His last attempt in September saw the teenager sneak out of a window and run into the woods in September.
Apparently, “visible marks” were seen on his neck and arms when he was found and hospitalized. Police began investigating possible child neglect. There are also reports that Jace complained to his grandmother, Barbara Evans, that Eason had assaulted him.
Following the child abuse charges, Jace is said to be living with his grandmother under the care of Child Protective Services. She has reportedly not communicated with her mother, Jenelle, and her husband for over a month.
