Facts/Trivia
- According to Tejaswini, she wanted to be an army officer, a beauty queen, and a teacher as a child.
- In an interview, Tejaswini revealed a disturbing encounter with her landlord in Pune, who once proposed to her for sexual favors. She described how the landlord, a local government representative, suggested a disturbing arrangement involving a sexual quid pro quo when she came to his office to pay her rent. Surprised and offended by this bold proposal, Tejaswini immediately responded by throwing a glass of water in the host’s face. Tejaswini Pandit, in the interview, said,
It was around 2009-10 and I used to live in a rented apartment on Sinhagad Road (in Pune). At that time, only one or two of my films had been released. The apartment is owned by a corporate. When I got to his office to pay the rent, he made me a direct offer… There was a glass of water on the table, I took it and threw it in his face. I did not enter this profession to do such things, or I would not be living in a rented apartment. I will bring the house and the car and so on.”
- Tejaswini took a trip down memory lane to her childhood with her father through an Instagram post in 2021. She reminisced about the two spoons her family had since her birth, one for measuring tea powder and the other for sugar. It was his father who taught him the art of making tea using this spoon. Although one of the spoons had a broken handle, they never replaced it because his family held a firm belief in the importance of accurate measurements in cooking.
