“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice recently spoke about what she believes Todd and Julie should do while serving their prison terms so they can come out strong on the other side.

It’s no surprise that Giudice chose to counsel the couple, given that he spent 11 months in prison for bank fraud, wire fraud and other financial fraud charges. Although her own prison time was shorter, the Bravo Housewives believe the same rules apply.

Guidice, during an interview with TMZ, shared the number one piece of advice she has for Todd and Julie as they venture into prison as celebrities. “I would say…like…stand firm. So stand firm,” he pleaded. “Stand up for their families and say while in prison what they want when they get out.”

“The Celebrity Apprentice 5” alum admitted that it won’t be a smooth ride for the “Chrisleys Knows Best” stars since their sentences will be longer and during their time, their children will achieve a lot without them.

He reveals that his children – Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana – visit him every week, which is important to his survival and the connectedness of his family.

Finally, Giudice addressed the issue of food in prison. He assures that despite what the media portrays, the food in prison is not that bad for him. However, the caveat is that he works in the kitchen, so he has an impact on the quality of the food.

Regarding the state of the 33-year-old’s relationship with his parents, Lindsie stated that she supports Julie and Todd from afar. “Of course I spend time with my parents on the phone because I also share custody rights [with my ex-husband William Campbell]. So I don’t have the luxury of just picking up and going to Nashville and being there until January,” he revealed.

Lindsie concluded, noting that her parents were also busy doing therapy and engaging in bible study while the rest of the family was “adjusting to what is now our new normal.”
