A Texas family says they were terrorized by a “very large” pig this week – and it kept coming back.
Kingsland resident Wendy Goldstein told FOX 7 Austin that a black-and-white spotted pig attacked her parents and daughter on Monday.
The animal — which Goldstein estimated weighed 300 pounds — somehow got into the house.
“My grandma got attacked by a random pig,” a child said in a 911 call during the incident. “Now my grandfather is under attack.”
The Texas mother explained that the pig was foaming at the mouth and had barreled inside the house after attacking her daughter outside.
“My mom tried to lay on top of him to crush him until the police got here to get him, she overpowered him and got on top of him,” Goldstein explained.
“He’s flattened it like an accordion.”

Goldstein told FOX 7 that the pig’s owner approached his family while searching for the animal.
He claimed that the pig’s owner threatened to shoot them if they hurt him.
“What does he expect us to do, to sit there and let his pigs run amok at us?” he said.

The pig was shot with non-lethal pepper balls by animal control officers on Monday, but it got away.
It approached the family again on Tuesday.
“I stood inside my parents’ house with a hammer and a knife trying to defend myself and my family at all costs. … My whole family was scared, they felt like prisoners in their own home,” Goldstein said.
The Llano County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the incident.
No additional details are known at this time.
