No hero screams loudly or has multiple gravity-defying slo-mo introduction scenes or blocks of action with a background score. There were no long speeches about farmers, soldiers or Indians in the last 10 minutes. However, this is also called a movie.”
After he made this post, Tharun said that he and his team were harassed by fans on Instagram and other social sites. In response to the harassment, Tharun made another Instagram post that read,
This is for all trollers, cowards who hide behind fake names, empty identities. I feel sorry for you. The problem is that you have no self-respect. That’s why you choose to hide in a group behind a fake ID, you need an idol, a religion and a caste or community to feel safe. It’s true, I get it, without that sense of security you’re nothing, deep down you know that, that’s why you throw insults, through insults, the moment someone points a finger. You guys are weak. People used to be influenced and it gave you a sense of power but now everyone knows you’re a dog that only barks but can’t bite. At least dogs get rewarded for loyalty. You get nothing. So keep wagging your tail, because nothing is going to stop me from telling the story I want to tell. I’m only 31 years old, only four years old, still a long way to go.”
However, since the harassment continued, Tharun decided to file a complaint with the Cyber Crime, Telangana. In his complaint, he wrote that his Instagram post about the Tamil film Kappela had been sensationalized by social media users.
